Melissa Meador
Staff Therapist

Melissa Meador is a Clinical Therapist, earning her Master’s Degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition, with a concentration in Dietetics, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Melissa has experience working with clients with eating disorders at all levels of care both individually and in group settings.  Melissa’s clinical experience has been with both adolescents and adults with a variety of eating disorders.  Melissa also has experience working with clients with depression, anxiety, and trauma.  Melissa strives to create a space where clients feel heard and accepted through an empathetic, collaborative, and accepting approach.  Melissa is passionate about working with clients on their journey to recovery from an eating disorder.    

Melissa provides psychotherapy and facilitates Individualized Outpatient Program (IOP) Services at Ascend Consultation in Healthcare.
