Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa (AN) is characterized by restriction of food intake, weight loss, or difficulty gaining adequate weight needed to sustain good health. Individuals with AN may have persistent body, food, and/or exercise related preoccupations. The idea of weight restoration for individuals with AN may initially feel unnecessary, unimportant, and frightening.
