Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
Individuals having the eating disorder known as ARFID, consume inadequate nutrition to support good health due to one or more concerns such as, lack of interest in eating, food related sensory issues, sensitivities to food related specifics such as texture, taste or temperature, etc., or worries regarding potential aversive consequences of eating such as choking, gagging, or vomiting.
