Dr. Richard Jakubik earned his Master of Science in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He received a Master of Divinity degree from St. Mary of the Lake Seminary, is Catholic Priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Dr. Richard has served as a clinician and minister in the field of human services/mental health for the past 20 years. He has extensive education, training, and experience in providing therapeutic services to adolescents, adults and families of diverse cultural backgrounds. 

Dr. Richard is known for his warm, engaging, and relaxed approach to counseling.  He is highly skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based treatments. He has worked with adult and adolescent clients struggling with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and spiritual problems. Dr. Richard is experienced in treating a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, loss, eating disorders, PTSD, and relationship and family concerns, while facilitating self-empowerment and holistic transformation.
