Miram (Pérez) Pérez is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's from North Park University.

Pérez started her work in the field as an intern at Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center and Emmaus in Chicago, IL. 

As a Latine woman, Pérez understands the stigmas that are associated with mental health. Pérez believes that cultural competency is essential when working with individuals from different backgrounds.

Pérez is passionate about creating a personalized safe space that provides comfort, competent care, empathy and understanding in order to foster confidence and healing. Interests include: Intersectionality of mental health, Art therapy, Harm reduction, and Systemic issues. 

Aside from therapy, Pérez enjoys arts and crafts (especially embroidering), watching anime, watching live dance performances, and cuddling up with her toy poodle, Leah.
