Joffrey Ballet and RUSH Launch Mental Health Program

Joffrey Ballet and RUSH have announced a "groundbreaking” (Better Magazine) program offering mental health support for dancers of the Joffrey Ballet.
Ascend’s Illinois Sport and Performance Institute is proud to collaborate with the important initiative.

Erika Owen, RUSH’s Wellness Liaison to the Joffrey “(Dr. Conviser) has been pivotal in how we approached the culture of the company,” Owen said. “Many dancers come in after casting decisions are made. It seems so inconsequential to people outside of this world … but a lot of what we’re working on is circles of control — what they have control over versus what is completely subjective.” See the full Better Magazine article here.
